What is an Employment Contract?

An Employment contract or Contract of employment is a kind of contract used in labour law to attribute rights and responsibilities between parties to a bargain. The contract is between an "Employee" and an "employer". It has arisen out of the old master-servant law, used before the 20th century.

How to use a Employment Contract?

We are giving a format for employment contract which can be used by the employer. The contract should include all clauses, agreements and terms which are discussed during the employment. It should ideally be drafted on the letter head of the company and signed by the authorized employer.
